It doesn't matter if you're black or white women need to work together to show society that men and women must be treated equal. In the 1800's, Congress passed Fifteenth Amendment, gave black males the right to vote. Black and white women still did not this right after they had a campaign to gain this right and abolish slavery. Douglass was the only man to support black and white women the right to vote.

The article "The Male Myth" by Paul Theroux, he argues that in our society men can defined as merciful and punishing burden. This statement I dont agree because men can do whatever they want and its their decision what they want to do in life. While I reading this article I thought to myself that i think he wanted to be girl because women has more freedom then men do which I dont agree, because men has more freedom then women. Also he argues about men what they wear and the sports that are into, which men are born that way and its their own style and they choose want they want to do in life. If I had the urge to meet Paul in person I will tell him what are his problems with masculinity and femininity cause I have no problems with it because it's their life and what they want to do.

Sterling's article is saying men are made and born, which I am in between to that comment because men are made either way. Men are made and born because of what they are and their personality wise. Lorber's article is saying examples to the readers that girls try to be boys and boys try to be girls which is the opposite. Also people find it hard to their gender and how to interact to their social life. Their gender wise can change them by desires, emotional feelings, sexual feelings, relationships, skills, naming, and other things.Anyways, I find it the same thing that men are born and made because of the way they are and their decisions. In our society, genderism can affect a lot of people in life and how to interact with their emotions and the trouble they are having with their gender. Also some people can find it hard whether they want to stay that person or just change and have a good life.
