It doesn't matter if you're black or white women need to work together to show society that men and women must be treated equal. In the 1800's, Congress passed Fifteenth Amendment, gave black males the right to vote. Black and white women still did not this right after they had a campaign to gain this right and abolish slavery. Douglass was the only man to support black and white women the right to vote.

  1. This is a nice start but needs to be developed. Is it possible for women to look past their race and join forces on the common ground of sex? Will white women be seen as traitors by white men for doing so? will the same happen to Black women and men?
