It doesn't matter if you're black or white women need to work together to show society that men and women must be treated equal. In the 1800's, Congress passed Fifteenth Amendment, gave black males the right to vote. Black and white women still did not this right after they had a campaign to gain this right and abolish slavery. Douglass was the only man to support black and white women the right to vote.

The article "The Male Myth" by Paul Theroux, he argues that in our society men can defined as merciful and punishing burden. This statement I dont agree because men can do whatever they want and its their decision what they want to do in life. While I reading this article I thought to myself that i think he wanted to be girl because women has more freedom then men do which I dont agree, because men has more freedom then women. Also he argues about men what they wear and the sports that are into, which men are born that way and its their own style and they choose want they want to do in life. If I had the urge to meet Paul in person I will tell him what are his problems with masculinity and femininity cause I have no problems with it because it's their life and what they want to do.

Sterling's article is saying men are made and born, which I am in between to that comment because men are made either way. Men are made and born because of what they are and their personality wise. Lorber's article is saying examples to the readers that girls try to be boys and boys try to be girls which is the opposite. Also people find it hard to their gender and how to interact to their social life. Their gender wise can change them by desires, emotional feelings, sexual feelings, relationships, skills, naming, and other things.Anyways, I find it the same thing that men are born and made because of the way they are and their decisions. In our society, genderism can affect a lot of people in life and how to interact with their emotions and the trouble they are having with their gender. Also some people can find it hard whether they want to stay that person or just change and have a good life.

How does genderism affect our society ?

I agree with that question because most people find it hard to believe their gender is created or re-created of human interactions and social life. I like how they gave an example in (pg.13) because you might find babies that dress like a boy or girl or you dont know what is there gender. In our society you will find transvestite or transsexual and their are basically the same because their status is by dressing , speaking , walking , and gesturing. Transvestite is a person who dresses in opposite gender clothes. Transsexuals is a person who has had sex change surgery. As puberty turns they start to name their selves as gender and their sexual feelings and desires starts to change them. Also when they hit puberty and start changing they produce feelings , consciousness , relationships and skills. Also in our society is that people change is their talents , motivations , competence , race and ethnicity. Every society , people has to be a girl or a boy no matter what or if they change their gender. Also if husbands and fathers adopts boys or girls it doesn't matter and its going to be the same thing as for wives and mothers. With the wives and husbands act to their children it can be classified by teaching , learning , emulation and enforcement. Also children learn how to walk , talk , and gesture the way social group says to be a girl or a boy. Another example on (pg.23) a mother has a daughter that is a tomboy and she doesn't want her to be tomboy but when the mother was a kid she was a tomboy by the time she was thinking that i should be a girly- girl. Another example on (pg.25) is a mom who brought his son to a nonsexist elementary school which didn't have girls and boys restrooms and they had a play about squares and circles and the squares had makeup and circles didn't and her son Bobby did not want to wear makeup and either the group of boys. Many cultures will go by clothing , gestures and demoralizing children and also parents will go by naming , birth announcements and dressing.  In our society gender can be classified as varied talents , sexual preferences , identities , personalities , interests and ways organized bye body and social experiences. I learned in this article is that you can not judge nobody in our society if they want to be a girl or boy or transvestites and transsexuals. Also is their own decisions if whether they want to be its not what other people think.

I found this document very interesting because men can be born or made by a girl or boy. This document tells us that doctors don't tell you if your a boy a girl and they might figure it out by giving birth. Also tells us their signs if men does not have a penis or they do and they might be a girl if the penis is below .6 in can be a girl. Also its state that  John Money says that men are made and not born, which i highly agree because its how they are made by the woman's womb or it can be a different way.If men turns out to have no penis or something else they can decide if they want to change that its not no other person can tell you to change but men or woman can either choose if they want to be a girl or boy. I found something interesting that i never knew is that if a woman has a penis it turns out that woman becomes lesbian, its interesting to find that true because some woman would just choose to be a man or be a women. Also if men or women turns out to have a penis or something else they will have some aggression to them or some emotional problems and which that is uncomfortable for men and women. Also the parents should be confident of what their child might be a boy or a girl.
